If you remember this post recently about my culinary genius uncle, then you'll know that I've wanted to sweet talk him into letting my use his newly released cookbook as a giveaway prize.  Well...success!

I finally had the chance to visit his restaurant last night, and I left feeling sooooo tired...food coma.  Absolutely everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the main course to the desert.  If you live in the Seattle or Redmond area, I would recommend this cozy, family style dining to anyone and everyone. And no, that is not because I'm a relative.

The prize for winning will be Frank Curtiss' new cookbook release, Frankie at Home in the Kitchen.  This recipe book is full of traditional and original Italian appetizers, main courses, and deserts.  His recipes are extremely family friendly and designed to be cooked in the average family kitchen.  Frank also pairs a wine that best compliments the course prepared.  The best part of this cookbook, however, is that he gives tons and tons of tips for growing your own vegetables and herbs, and ideas for ingredients you should keep on hand if you serve Italian dishes regularly.
