Friday's Letters

Skyping with the hubby.  Excuse my awkward self hiding in the corner, I was too lazy to turn on lights.
Dear Friday.  Holy crap, this week was slow.  Dear readers.  I'm sure you all were completely fine without one more blog post to read every day, but I really am sorry that I slacked so much this week.  Dear self.  Stop slacking.  Dear Husband.  One month left.  I really can't believe you're almost home, but now that the time is close, I feel like life is moving in slow motion.  But seriously.  One month.  Dear pups.  I'm so thankful that I no longer have to kennel you every time I leave the house, but can I ask what your obsession with my shoes is all about?  I mean, you don't chew on them or anything, which is great, but why are my snow boots always in a different room whenever I come home?  Dear house.  The hubster is almost home, which means you need to be spic and span and organized.  Therefore, please stop vomiting out more random crap for me to sort through every time I turn my back.  Not helping.  Dear headaches.  I get it.  You are a part of my life.  But is it necessary to stick around for multiple days in a row?  Dear people who are buying all my old clothes.  You don't know it, but your purchases are helping me downsize my clutter, and also financing a new dining room table.  Thank you for your support :).  Dear LWLH.  I seriously can't wait until you get back and post some awesome pics of your honeymoon!  Dear Germany.  Your weather has been particularly gloomy the past couple days, which is not much fun for me and the families I'm supposed to be taking pictures of.  Brighten up a little, ya?  Dear self.  Reading back on these letters makes me realize that you sound overly pessimistic, whiney, and complainy all the time.  Cheer up, buttercup.

missing my dad and brothers very much right now

p.s.  Guess who just joined Facebook?  I don't foresee a lot of traffic on the page, but I needed a way to keep the blog separate from my personal Facebook site.  Soooo, if you'd like to follow Be Freckled on Facebook, you can find it here!

  6. Hi! I just found your blog and read that you are living in Germany! What part? I'm in Bavaria, but will be moving back to CA next month. The weather has been gloomy :( it needs to cheer up a bit, I think. And i'm so happy you get to see your hubby soon! I have one more month until I see my fiance and I can't wait!

One Month!!! So exciting! My dog always picks up whatever is laying around and hoards it over to her bed.
