Dear Friday. I didn't write a letter last week, and for that I apologize. However, I've been extremely worn out, busy, and kind of blasé about the whole blogging thing, and needed a minuscule break. I'm back now, and happy you're here since it means another week down. Dear Husband. We are down to less than two weeks. Possibly. It could be less than three weeks since we don't know the exact date you're coming home, but I'm betting on the two weeks. I can't believe at some point this month, I will get to see your face again. I. Can't. WAIT. Dear Alyssa. Five days until you show up on my doorstep and we begin our adventure. This is going to be epic. Dear madre, padre, and youngest brother. You've learned that barring any extenuating circumstances, you will be moving to Cambodia next summer. I'm so excited for you guys to have this opportunity, but kind of sad, too. You'll be moving even further out of reach than you already are...I don't know if I'm grown up enough for that yet. Dear Rosie & Anja. Our get together this week was so much fun, and a much needed treat. Can't wait 'til next time! Dear puppies. I love the fact that you two immediately win over every single person that meets you. Our German neighbors would probably do anything for you guys, and that makes me super happy. Dear photography hobby. I made a very large and possibly overwhelming next step, and started advertising in the local area. I've already had so many people respond with requests for family portraits, maternity shoots, newborn pictures, baby showers, couple's photos. I'm so happy there are men and women out there who are willing to entrust me with their time and memories, and am excited about the prospect of learning even more, but is this really what I want? Dear Germany. You're weather has been particularly superb this week. Not too hot. Not too cold. Just right, like porridge. Thank you very much. Dear self. Get your butt into gear. That book you're reading may be just about the best thing ever, but there's a house to organize, a car to clean, and shopping to do. Get on it.
