Friday Letters

I don't typically write specific posts for each day of the week, with the exception of Bookish Sundays.  Mostly because I don't ever really find "What I Pinned Wednesday" or "Linky Love Tuesday" [Don't worry, I made those up...I think] attractive.  Not that they're not fun to look at on other blogs; I'm just not motivated to participate.  They don't spark my interest. But I do think I can do Friday Letters.  This one is more me.  So, without further ado...

Dear Friday.  I don't really notice the difference between you and the rest of the days; you all kind of run together.  I apologize if this makes you feel un-special.  Dear Husband.  It's been almost three months since I've seen you.  We have another three to go.  Please make the time go faster!  I miss you so much.  Dear Family.  I'm still counting down the days until I arrive on your doorstep in the US.  It is down to [about] 14 days until I see South Carolina, and 22 days until I see Minnesota.  Hooray!  Dear Germany.  I love you and I love living in you [that sounds awkward...].  Thank you for your beautiful weather this week.  Dear blogging community.  I feel like I'm finding more of a niche in this world, and I have the wonderful blogs I follow to thank for inspiring me.  So thank you.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. hahah your disclaimer/intro made me laugh! back when I started writing letters I just did it as a way to reflect on my week and say something nice to my husband on purpose and intentionally at least once a week and it has since grown! I am so glad you linked up this week! also, I hate that you are away from your husband for 6 months. that is really tough :( have you read wtfarmywife.blogspot.com ?? she is moving to germany really soon to be stationed there with her husband!

    1. Thank you! Dude, I'm so excited. Not even for being in the States, just for seeing family. I feel like I haven't really had a chance to spend much quality time with them since I got married, so this is a treat ;)

    1. Please let it fly, just for the next three months! Then you can have it as slow as you need. We've been here since November, and I hope I never have to leave! Thank you for the compliment, it's very new and I'm still getting used to it

    1. Thank you! One of my favorites, too. Yes, a husband gone for three months, and three more to go. The life of the military...

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate new visitors :)

    1. I think the letters are wonderful. Forces me to say something when usually I wouldn't say anything at all. And thank you, I think the design will stay put for now.

I respond to every single comment, but only via email. If you don't have an email linked to your account, then I won't be able to respond to you! That doesn't mean I don't read your notes, though. Every single one makes my day better.
